What makes this event different?
Shaking the Tree is known for its unique brand of storytelling which enables the audience to have more meaningful discussions and exchange different perspectives around critical issues. We will be using three live theater productions to engage and educate the audience throughout the weekend.

While many philanthropy events begin with strategy and action, we have chosen to guide our attendees in personal introspection which will provide a deeper understanding of who they are, what they stand for and their personal philosophy. This deeper understanding will enable individuals to zero in on projects and initiatives that provide an enhanced level of passion and fulfillment.

We constantly hear from friends and colleagues that they desire a deeper level of personal interaction. So, we made an effort to create sessions which enable attendees to share ideas, experiences and challenges such as our “Fishbowl” breakout sessions and “Storytelling Night.”

Who should attend?
This event is primarily for individuals and families of significant assets. There will be sessions to intrigue philanthropists with varied levels of experience and plenty of networking.

Because close advisors are invaluable in helping families execute their philanthropic and investment activities, we have reserved a limited number of spaces for single family office executives and family foundation executives. It’s a great opportunity to discuss critical issues with family clients, so we encourage you to invite family members of different generations to join you at this event.
